FosterREG aims at enhancing public capacity at local, regional and national levels to plan, finance and manage integrated urban regeneration for sustainable energy uptake, through capacity building, promotion and articulation of effective multilevel coordination, and national as well as European network strengthening. These objectives will be achieved through public stakeholders’ engagement in joint analysis and knowledge development activities, as well as creation and dissemination of targeted training materials and activities across Europe. vIn the context of the 21st annual “Advance Management European Week ”, which presents good management practices in Basque public and private companies, VISESA organized a workshop on 30th October 2015 in Donostia-San Sebastian, with the goal of discussing new management models for urban regeneration and energy efficiency, and communicating FosterREG project objectives, tasks carried in the first few months, and the process and events that will be developed in the next steps of the project. Around 100 professionals from public and private companies attended to the event, which was held on the auditorium of the School of Architecture (University of the Basque Country).
